It's not just here that it happens too, you know, in the US alone Social Services are hitting the headlines for their practices towards parents

Perhaps if this is a global issue of human rights, isn't it time some of the so called "liberty" organisations stepped in and put an end to this unjust and unfair system of "we say" and "you are labelled thus"....read on!

The Laws in the other countries of the globe are not the same as the UK hence I would stipulate here and now that things may be better or worse for parents but it seems social workers are the same the world over, only interested in their view and their being right.

Below are a series of links to sites worldwide, if people thought this was an UK only thing then this just shows the global nature of the titled job "social worker", in the US where the establshment is a much more insidious entity in peoples lives, the law is even more geared up against normal everyday people.

In many countries social services have very powerful allies in the form of the police, on UseNet NG's I came accross a reference on how Australian Police backed by a female police sergeant at the whim destroyed a man's livelihood and social standing because the social worker involved believed out of hand tales of "domestic violence" when it was seen that there was no evidence to support this. I haven't listed this story as I have no means of contacting this person and I am loth to place articles which have no means of tracing or backing.

Even so, I have seen sites in Canada where draconian social work seems to be the norm, it seems many countries just hand this huge slice of power over to people who seem not to exhibit the "right" qualifications for the role of parent and family mediator.

Whilst myself and my good affiiates involved with RPSSUK concern ourselves with the UK's area of concern, it is valid here to show that people all across the globe suffer much hardship and erosion of their rights, it is seen I think that the last time people had this sort of power in a single entity was with Hitler's Germany, GeheimeStatzesPolizei is a more common name for an organisation that could on the merest suspicion haul away, try and convict individuals through tamed courts without fear of retribution from the highest authority, of course here iin the UK we would have known them as the Gestapo.....!
