| Reading through the foreword by Mr Blair may be heartening
to our elderly who I agree have the rights to walk down the streets unmolested,
it may spell trouble for the persistant offender but where in this foreword
does it tackle injustice from the system?
In bold moves by present and opposition parties to criminalise more people
every year, is this justice? I think not, in proposed moves to remove
summonary offence classes and make ALL offences arrestable by defauilt,
will this not create a burden on an already burdened police force?
Corporate and state crime is still not being recognised in any way, shape
or form, to Mr Blair and the cabinet it simply doesn't...exist!
I know of many many people now, all with evidenced situations showing
at least the crime of perjury in courts, to malpractice, misfeasance,
malfeasance in a public office, falsifying of legal document's, bribery,
corruption, blackmail and in one recent disclosure attempted murder, the
people perpertrating these though are not hardened criminals and thugs
roaming our streets but people charged with a duty to care in local authorities.
How many of you have had your complaint fairly heard?
How many of you have had your complaint dealt with in equal terms to
that of a criminal committing the same crime?
Not that many from what I have seen and heard....!
Mr Blunkett and Charles Falconer can hammer on about victims and community,
yet we are victims, we live in a community
Why are we not included in this new initiative then?
Although the governments response would be that the above is a criminal
bill, that its purview is to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour but
lets look at it again....
Isn't what I put above crimes then? Isn't what happens to us anti social?
Here is an extract...
"This plan focuses on how we will bring more criminals to justice,
improve the way different agencies work together,and give victims and
witnesses better services.The overriding principle of this plan is to
deliver criminal justice that puts the victim of crime and the law-abiding
citizen first. Underpinning this principle are two key themes:"
- Unifying the system so that it
is efficient,
- gets things right first time,
- produces outcomes that are effective
in protecting the innocent,
- deterring criminals and rehabilitating
offenders
and
-
is visible and responsive
to law abiding citizens;
-
is sensitive to
the needs of the victim, ensuring that victims are supported and that
their voices are heard;
-
operates fairly,
protecting the innocent andpursuing the guilty;
-
is joined up in
a modern and efficient process that works;
-
applies appropriate
punishments, focused on tackling the causes of offending, and makes
sure they are completed; and
exploits the potential of modern IT to improve the experience of all
users.
Pretty powerful stuff for the public to be reassured about but I can
tell you that this day I can strike off most off that list in my dealings
with social services and no doubt the sufferers who frequent this site
can strike off many too.
Something else to consider....
"Each agency will work to common standards of service for victims
and witnesses, and agencies will be held to account for these.Victims
will also be able to complain to an independent Ombudsman."
As it stands today, this is supposed to be happening but the government
will still allow the agencies to self police themselves, this is a ludicrous
way to do business, local authorities have shown time and again that they
CANNOT iindependantly police themselves to any form of impartiality but
again Mrs Hodge fails to tackle this.
SOCIAL WORKERS AND OTHERS
IN THIS CIRCLE ARE COMMITTING CRIMES EVERY DAY - WHY DO THEY EVADE PUNISHMENT?
The Ombudsman is purposefully kept away from complainants for anything
up to several years, this is a government policy to "weed" out
the weak, the people who just cannot carry on the struggle, this isn't
justice, its governemt manipulation.
Now for what Mr Blair and the cabinet propose in an idyllic
format:
The public will have confidence that the Criminal Justice System
is effective and that it serves all communities fairly.
What will be different in 2008:
- Criminal justice will be better at delivering its core business
of reducing crime and bringing offenders to justice.
If you are a member of the public:
- you will have confidence that the system puts the law-abiding
citizen at the heart of all it does.
If you are a victim of crime, or a witness:
- you will be treated with respect and understanding and provided
with the information, facilities and support you need;
- you will receive a high quality service that meets clear common
standards. Criminal justice agencies will be held to account for delivering
these.
If you are from a Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) background:
- you will have more confidence that criminal justice treats you
fairly;
- unjustified racial disparities in stop and search and in sentencing
will have been reduced.
And those working in criminal justice:
- will have made better efforts to get balanced information about
criminal justice in the media,particularly the local media;
- will be better at engaging communities and responding effectively
to their concerns.Where appropriate, the courts will hold specialised
sittings for drugs, domestic violence
It keeps going back to the law abiding citizen, nearly all I have met
in my studies in this area ARE law abiding, hard working contributors
to their community, why is it alloweable then that Social Workers can
deny people these so called rights?
What worries me is that if you are accused of a crime whether fairly
or not, will you be treated as fairly or will it be the drumhead court
martials found in Hitler's Germany where the state dictates the Judges
hand?
I will leave the subject here for the moment and you will have to surmise
the rest yourselves by downloading the PDF document, I am quite alrmed
that instead of focusing on real issues, the government is using very
heavy tactics on what may be menial offences, by moving the goal posts
too it will be seen to work but that isn't justice, that is blatant labelling.
All these proposals for the prosecution won't be there for the defendant,
who can stand up against the will of the state, it certainly seems Big
Brother will be watching you and for most of us it won't even affect us
but.....
What about the wrongly accused?
What about corruption in department's?
These changes will make
the innocent's demise that much quicker and absolute and proving ones
innocence will be that much harder.
Catch the crooks, catch
the abusers and the gangsters and all the people that prey on decent upstanding
citizens but don't do it by using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut, use
justice as a tool, not a weapon.
IT HAS TO STAND THAT YOU
ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
JUSTICE IS AN EQUAL RIGHT,
WHETHER FOR THE ACCUSED OR THE VICTIM, IT MUST NOT BE WIELDED AS A WEAPON
BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE ITSELF LOOK BETTER
