A suggestion for Mr Blair and his government....
Reform comes rarely to these shores, the government is a bigger version of social services in their "We know best.." attitude, but do they know best?

Perhaps it could be asked why these implementations could never be inserted into the legal system as it stands, its a few lines of law, twenty minutes of a lwa lords time, 1 hour debate in the Lords..

Mr Blair and all who support the system as it stands.

We are supposed to be within the European Union yet why is our human rights issues still at the level of pre-treaty status. Was there any point in signing the single union treaty, is there any point in expecting justice when we get is cold misery?

Now I can say that many legal statutes, acts and laws are being simply ignored in favour of persecution of the family by these so called professionals. When is it going to stop?

We as parents just don't have a chance when the government has already condemned us out of hand, the two tier society still exists, its them and us mentality with us at the sharp end.

This country is supposed to be a democracy, how can that be when a government allows full scale oppression and persecution of its citizens simply because their circumstances are in a worse condition than those above them.

So called "New" Labour seems to have adopted many of the scarier principles of Nazi Germany and interesting comparisons could be made all along the spectrum of Human Rights, Law and Penal reform, societal standards of living. The socialist situation has changed from the benign ethical organization that helped many instances of unfair and unjust lifestyle, poverty, squalor and degrading work surrounds.

The government now is only interested in criminalising the population whether its the humble tax disc to not being able to pay your bills, children now have more rights than the adults and it is an unhappy place for some of us to live in.

Mr Blair - Start listening to the people - Stop oppressing them through criminalisation and poverty traps - retake the power from the companies and put it back where it belongs, in the hands of a fair and democratic process, not some fat cat who has no idea what it's like to live on the breadline.

PLEASE CONSIDER THESE ADDENDUMS TO CURRENT LAW

  1. Social Services must have their elite status capped, they are not a force and they must be culpable to the people as the police and medical services have to be
  2. Social Services must follow the same evidence gathering and presentation as is seen in higher court criminal law, it is simply not enough to say "I think.." It must be that "I have proof therefore I say.." 90% of the people who I have talked to link a current theme that their plight has been caused by opinion over lack of evidence
  3. Social Services must be culpable for their actions. It must be addressed through a criminal code rather than a civil code, if a social worker creates a situation where a child is wrongfully taken from its parents then that worker must face legal charges similar to if a stranger had taken that child. There must be stricter criminal punishments for falsification of reports, perversion of justice, slanderous and libellious statements. Social workers have been committing identical activities that if a non-social worker committed would end up in prison.
  4. If a child loses its life or limb through inept practice then that social worker should face a term in prison, I refer to Victoria Climbie's case in that the markers were there, that child lost her life as have others yet those workers are walking free today.
  5. Social Workers should be put through a Psychological and Psychiatric assessment, they should have a full and stringent background check before being licensed to practice. Also a national database of recorded complaints should be created to ensure that future departments do not end up with a worker that has had many complaints levied against them.
  6. The complaints processes of each department should be vetted and independently assessed, social work departments across the UK have exhibited time and again their ability to cover up rather than address the situation, departments also must be atoneable for their actions and if found to actively cover up a disgraceful scenario then criminal punishment should also be applied.
  7. A system should be given that serious complaints should be viewed as formal employment warnings and if a serious complaint in the third instance reached, dismissal is automatic. Any serious complaint upheld should be also addressed by a period of counseling and retraining in practice before being allowed on the case staff, this could be achieved by suspension of licence to practice.
  8. Existing outstanding cases should be formally addressed and investigated, it is cold comfort for a parent who has lost their child illegally to receive compensation only, they should have their child returned as a matter of course as well as compensation to be calculated by the courts and payable by the councils responsible.
  9. Rogue departments should be scrutinized carefully and if they do not change their practices, then removal of key personnel should be implemented by the government, if this does not resolve the problems, then the council assembly should be forced to hold itself un elected and face new by elections.
  10. Conspiracy between agencies through social services should also apply to the sister agencies seen to conspire, it has been noted that social workers offer promotion and other benefits to such entities as schools or playgroups in return for favour's rendered, a broad scale of levied punishments should be introduced to deter anything but correct, honest and lawful child protection and investigation procedures.

We at the RPSSUK think that Mr Blair and his friends will look at this with disbelief, they don't want the law or status changed, after all, whats a few lives to them out of 70 Million others.

No Mr Blair, there are more of us than you think, we are standing and watching and waiting and one day someone will stand up and count us for what we are
